Awards and Successes

The residents of Forth come from a Mining background. The majority of them have worked hard to create a good livestyle for their families, they keep homes and gardens to a high standard – this proven by the success in the South Lanarkshire Gardens Competition where various streets and individual homes have won awards.

Forth has also achieved many successes in Beautiful Scotland which is a long-established community environmental improvement campaign run in partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society. The programme supports community groups across Scotland as they seek to improve and enhance their local environment. Beautiful Scotland is a competition with an extensive set of categories and awards, and its winners can progress to the UK-wide Britain in Bloom competition and thereafter to the international Entente Florale.
